Bio
Dr. Resnik earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science at Wake Forest University, and her Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University. She graduated summa cum laude and cum laude from both schools, respectively. At Georgetown, she was inducted as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Medical Society and earned the Ophthalmology Achievement Award. Upon graduation from medical school. Dr. Resnik completed her internship at Newton-Wellesley Hospital and recently graduated from Tufts Medical Center/New England Eye Center where she served as chief resident.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, New England Ophthalmological Society, Massachusetts Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Resnik is dedicated to delivering comprehensive eye care by tailoring treatment options to the unique needs of each individual. Her interests include cataract surgery, dry eye disease, glaucoma interventions, diabetic retinopathy, and eyelid surgeries. Dr. Resnik grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and will be living on the South Shore with her husband and goldendoodle Marley. Dr. Resnik is an avid runner and loves to explore the scenic landscapes of New England skiing, sailing, and hiking. Starting September 30, 2024, Dr. Resnik will be providing comprehensive eye care at OCB, serving the communities of Plymouth, Sandwich, and Yarmouth.
