Dr. Hoguet is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in glaucoma and cataract care. Prior to joining OCB, Dr. Hoguet was on the full time faculty at Massachusetts Eye and Ear, where she was recognized as an outstanding teacher and physician, and a clinical associate in ophthalmology at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Dr. Hoguet completed her undergraduate training at Stanford University in psychology and graduated as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She received her medical degree at Duke University and was selected as a fellow for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. She completed her internship in internal medicine at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, Columbia University and her residency at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, where she was elected Chief Resident. In addition, she received the prestigious Louis J Girard award for outstanding research. She completed her clinical fellowship in glaucoma at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, which has consistently ranked as the top eye care center in the United States.

Dr. Hoguet has taught many residents, clinical fellows and research fellows. She was Instructor of Ophthalmology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and was Instructor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School. In addition, she was Associate Fellowship Director for the Glaucoma Service at MEE.

Her clinical research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed scientific and medical journals. Dr. Hoguet is a fellow with the American Academy of Ophthalmology and member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, American Glaucoma Society and New England Ophthalmology Society.

Dr. Hoguet is committed to providing her patients with the highest level of care. She has a special interest in clinical and surgical innovations for cataracts and early and advanced stage glaucoma.
