Dr. Babak Jian Seyedahmadi received his Medical Doctorate at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Rochester followed by his Fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Jian Seyedahmadi’s research project during his fellowship was on the roundabout, axon guidance receptor, homolog 1 (ROBO1), a potential modifier and therapeutic target for early and intermediate dry age-related macular degeneration.
Additionally, Dr. Jian Seyedahmadi completed a Fellowship program in Ocular Molecular Genetics and a Fellowship program in Ophthalmic Pathology, both at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Jian Seyedahmadi is on staff at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, South Shore Hospital, Carney Hospital, Cape Cod Eye Surgery & Laser Center, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton, Good Samaritan Medical Center and New England Eye Surgical Center.
