OCB physicians present at NEOS, Retina Society and AAO national conferences.

OCB eye doctor are leaders in their respective specialties. Throughout the year, they present their research and provide education that advances eye care and it has been a busy Fall.

In early October, OCB doctors and clinical staff presented at the New England Ophthalmological Society’s (NEOS) annual meeting that included sessions for physicians and sessions for allied ophthalmic medical professionals (the OMP meeting). NEOS President and OCB’s very own Claudia Richter, MD welcomed physicians and ophthalmic technicians to the event. OCB Regional Directors of Operations Sharon Brown and Lisa Miller, and Clinical Training Manager Sherry Malone organized the conference. OCB Ophthalmologists Ambika Hoguet, MDTom Hsu, MDNaveen Rao, MD, Lana Rifkin, MD and Theodore Sauer, MD presented, along with OCB clinical team members Jedman Carpenter, Amanda Cox and Nocole Hopkins.

Later in the month, OCB’s Jeffrey Heier, MD, who serves as President of the Retina Society, oversaw and presented his research at the 56th Annual Retina Society Meeting

In early November, Dr Heier  joined OCB colleagues Husam Ansari, MDLaura Fine, MD and Naveen Rao, MD who were involved presenting, teaching and moderating at the annual AAO meeting in San Francisco. The AAO is the world’s largest association of eye physicians and surgeons that sets the standards for ophthalmic education and advocates for patients and the public.
